Crazy. I might be back out there this year, I need to hear what the local feeling is on this.

Unfortunately, like a lot of black folks, white colonization did a number on South Africa. When it comes to white South Africans they're way too accommodating with their bullshyt in a country where they clearly outnumber them.

Africa's problems lie with the American dollar being the world's reserve currency.
Countries that threatened that by trying to revert back to the gold standard were invaded and leaders executed ( Iraq, Libya) or sanctioned to hell for extracting revenge on whites or white companies (Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Cuba and Iran). The days of the US dollars dominance are soon coming to an end and their ability to wield sanctions as ways to cripple foreign countries economies will soon be gone with it.

This is what mainly has many African nation's not acting on a lot of things. China could upend that but the US dollar is to entangled within it's economy for them to do anything immediate. This century will definitely be the last of the dollar as the world reserve currency.

Why not emulate what that town is doing on a small scale in moving forward . Africa's problem is knowledge on how to manufacture their resources inhouse to provide jobs & learning opportunities for it's citizens. They also need to stop the drought & restore northern africa into fertile lands . The desert is getting to big
