Question? Not trying to call you out or be disrespectful but, why do " pure Africans" say things like that? Why throw it in African Americans faces that we can't trace our history or that we don't know exactly were we come from? I've heard a lot of Africans say things like, " at least we have culture " or " at least we have a home to go to" as if African Americans don't have our own culture. It's kind of hurtful to be honest.
It's like telling someone who was raised by a single mom, " well at least I got a daddy." Pure shade.
