Ill make the same comment I made in the other thread on her:

Like I said to the guy on the other page but apparently people can't listen so Ill say it again. Stop ASSUMING that Amy is all people are listening to. your the type of person that listens to 5 songs on a person's ipod and thinks they only listen to that artist. That's the problem with people, they assume way too damn much all the time. Not once did anyone say that there weren't any better singers than Amy. Like said in another thread, Beyonce most definitely has a better voice and better range than Aaliyah, but many people like myself just connect with her music more.

Here is some of my playlist(not including hip hop)

That's the last time I'm gonna say this since you and that other dude can't seem to listen

Man stfu, why keep making threads about Amys voice?

Why not just put it into one thread?

Shut the fukk up? Why because I called out your post?

I'm not the one who made the thread. You act like the same person made the thread each time.

if it bothers you then why continue to comment?

When i keep seeing threads about a soul singer on a hip hop forum, yet none of you guys seem to make threads about any other soul singers? The only conclusion is that you guys have it in your mind that she is the queen of modern day soul, with blue eyes and white skin like all the other kings and queens of black genres.

chill shun, it ain't about race. its more so Nas putting her on a song and a lot of these people finally waking up and realizing she was dope because the rapper they're infatuated with gave her his stamp of approval.

anyway, another contribution

Just like I said before right?

You "assume" .....Your only "conclusion"

Basically like I said before you only keep assuming shyt like you have all our ipods in front of you

get out of here with that BS

and don't even start that "white" debate. nobody called her the queen of anything. we just feel her music. is that a crime?

Beyonce better range and a better singer than Aaliyah, but people like myself feel Aaliyah's music more. there is always one singer out there better than another. THere always has to be that one "captain obvious" like yourself in threads like this that feel the need to point out the obvious.

You seem to be the type of person that was too slow to realize that all the fans cheering and hyping up Jeremy Lin so much were just trolling their asses off and you could tell this with the signs they put up and their expressions.....but people like you ran with it and acted paranoid and made it seem like everyone was acting like he was the next MJ

In this case, everytime someone likes a certain very mainstream artist.....its a problem with people and they AUTOMATICALLY assume without any base of information that they are ALL that you listen to? Its gets annoying as hell

as you can see from my list I listen to multiple people. But even if someone DID only listen to Amy mainly.....then what is the crime with that? Are humans not allowed to like who they want? Is it a crime if they like a devilish white musician instead of a black one?

:skip:

people need to stop it with this annoying paranoia against white musicians every second. its not that serious

Just finished listening to Back To Black.

:lawd:

Her voice is straight from Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaugn, and Ella Fitzgerald era.

But this album is from 2006. :wow:

In the words of the great Nasir "Amy why couldn't you chill."

lol @ Nas making all you c00ns Amy Winehouse fans overnight

:usure:

We've been trying to tell you fakkits she was dope on SOHH, and ya'll played us. Me and Y2Dre

EDIT: I'm not talking to the threadstarter specifically by the way. Its just funny how there's been a billion Amy Winehouse threads ever since Cherry Wine, but dudes ain't give her the time of day before that.

lmao people are really getting put onto her just because of Nas? She was huge when Rehab came out. Way bigger than Nas has ever been and was already collabing with rappers back then.
