I became a fan too late but not because of Nas.
I actually started listening to her randomly in June a month before she died and I can't really remember too clearly but I think "Fool's Gold" "Back to Black" and LIATG were the tracks I was really getting into.
I stopped for a while for no particular reason and then weeks later was when the news came
Then this time I started to FULLY listen to her.
I didn't find out about the whole Nas situation until the weeks after websites started talking about it.
