A 6-5, conservative court...
That's fine by me...

There is a valid case for 11 in retaliation to Moscow Mitch and Rethugs hypocritical power grab...

There is no justification for 13 though other than a power grab and when Dems lose power again, Rethugs will have legitimate reason to retaliate...

We could end up with more SCOTUS judges than Senators if we go that route...

Yeah I'm fine with 6-5 , they stole two justices with conflicting reasonings; if they think about doing it again you expand further down the line.

Any number of justices is sufficient IMO, which is an argument *against* court packing because gaining an ideological majority for your side is literally the only thing it can accomplish...

yep, hoping the same

dems should just add two, and say things like "this is a direct response to mcconnell's abuse of power, the conservatives will still maintain their majority but 6-5 represents america better", etc

because adding 2 young judges plus breyer's replacement is enough

It must be nice to sit on the outside of the reality of current politics and play obtuse like the courts arent being utilized for political advantages. In fact , currently we're in the process of rushing a judicial nominee thru the senate ...based on an hopeful ideological advantage which has accelerated the last 8 years.

As far as I'm concerned the more court packing the quicker the credibility of the supreme court goes up in flames and it get's exposed for being essentially an extension of the senate. Maybe with this people will realize just how shyt the supreme court has been and it can finally get evaporated. They have had too much of an impact on American life for a group of unelected officials. Fucck them.

Give me some examples of SC rulings under Trump that justify this level of panic and judicial reform.
It must be nice to sit on the outside of reality and pretend our conservative SC hasnt thwarted every bit of Trumps idiocy that made it in front of them.

There needs to be more separation IMO with congress losing its ability to play these games with the judiciary. The SC is fine as is.
