Ok cool, even if he doesn't he's still just one senator. Dianne Feinstein should get more heat than Manchin.

Manchin represents West Virginia - a poor, Trump-loving white trash state. Feinstein represents California - one of the bluest states in the country.

Manchin is about the best Democrats can get out of WV. He votes with Trump about 52% of the time, compared to WV's other senator Shelley Moore Capito who votes with Trump about 95% of the time. Manchin supports a public option, Capito and the Republicans don't.

A one term Biden has with a mandate could pull a LBJ. LBJ was able to do what he did because of all the years in Congress he knew where the bodies were. Similar to how Obama was aspiring like the Kennedy’s.

Jokes aside if the Dems have a mandate they’ll do it. You think Schumer and Pepsi wanted to impeach Trump when it was clear from jump the senate would exonerate him? We the people got to vote Biden in (as much as he is a flawed as fukk candidate) and then put pressure on them to do the work with the understanding they can always distance themselves from Biden like I expect the republicans to distance themselves from Trump outside of Pure Red districts/states.
