Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) is ready to fight his former stablemate, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. Khan returns in December and Pacquiao will defend his title against Chris Algieri on November 22nd in Macau. Khan and Pacquiao once trained together under coach Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. In 2013, Khan broke away from Roach and hired trainer Virgil Hunter.
Khan says he told Golden Boy Promotions, and his adviser Al Haymon, that he's open to the idea of facing Pacquiao, but his team never received a response on the fight.
"The Manny fight can still happen at some point,” Khan told The Guardian. “My promoters, Golden Boy, and Bob Arum are about to start working together again. Me and Manny sparred a lot, and I often went with him to the Philippines, so it would make a great fight. I’ve left it with my team and my adviser Al Haymon and I told them: ‘I like the Manny fight.’ But we’ve had no response."

Manny Pacquiao vs Amir Khan would be a much bigger and better fight than Manny Pacquiao vs Chris Algieri. People would definitely tune in to watch that fight, so why no response back from Pacquio, his team, or TR?
