I'll be one of like the 2 people actually talking about the albums.

I actually prefer 4am, but like someone else said earlier.... I hate the effects she's using on her voice. But it still gets a spin from me since I like the production on the album. I'm one of the 5 people that actually likes Tinashe on this site and 4am reminds me of her earlier projects not named 'Black Water'.

Pretty much c/s this although I like the effects.

all i'm saying is besides ring the alarm and diva (to a lesser extent) what has bey done over her 20 year plus career that screams kelis, kaleidoscope....which reminds me kelis isn't the first person to scream on record

there's always been hip hop influences in her music and bey helped write and shape d.c.'s sound...she's always been cocky/done self empowerment records...only got bolder with time

nothing really is new under the sun anyways. kelis came from the same school as a neneh cherry, Madonna, blondie, etc......whereas bey is more so a pop, rnb, hip hop hybrid like a mariah carey

Ok i revisited the first 4am tape and WOW that shyt was hypnotizing. Very good project. I listened to that shyt like 5x in full just today. Made me go and grab all her other albums. Up until now i only heard her OG singles and Talkin To Me/Why Dont We Fall In Love are all time favorites.
