That brand new house is what probably got them in debt. Wife probably pick that crib out so she can stunt on social media and got her fam in a tough financial situation. If it weren't for the neighbor and the homegirl, the husband might have gotten away it, because of the dumbass wife made it looked their marriage read perfect on social media.

He killed his wife and strangled his daughters. He aint getting away with shyt. I am sure the cops knew he did it and just wanted to subtley get him to confess.

This don’t make no sense, his wife didn’t seem anymore annoying or needy than any other woman. He had to have a strong hate for her or there’s something more to it.

When she told him she was pregnant I feel like that was the moment he decided he was gonna kill her. No way was he gonna allow that baby to be born. It was just one more tether to his wife. And he was ready to bounce with his girlfriend. Also is it just me or the girlfriend looked very similar to his shannan just skinnier.

The wife was a total millennial Karen. Right down to the mlm scheme lol. I really like how they framed the documentary, her personality really showed. Not in a bias way to make her look evil, but everybody was shown through an authentic lens. White women are always portrayed as the damsel in distress, but this
Doc took a different approach.
Also, let's be real. The wife was obsessed with flossing her perfect family on social media, if he divorced her and made her a twice divorcee she would make his life hell. We all know now vindictive white women can get. He will be ostracized from the community or worse.


Chris watts seems like a narcissist. He really thought if he played the laid back guy, people wouldn't suspect him. Then he gets to the interrogation room and they start assuaging his ego and low self-esteem and the insecure fat guy came out. Smdh. Not only is he evil but he is also really stupid. He seems to love being the 'good nice guy" in every instance but in reality is duplicitous and cunning himself. Constantly gaslighting, not just his wife but anybody he meets. Makes it seem that he's chill and "nice" but in reality he is seething with rage. But nobody suspects that sociopathy from the white guy. He reminds me of a couple of white guys I used to work with.

Nah she wasn't demanding, I also think she had some introspection by the end and could see how her behaviour might have affected the marriage. She obviously has self awareness and empathy traits that Chris never had to begin with.

That's the sad part, she was being human to a psycho who was barely human himself.

Rip to shannan and the babies honestly, the babies broke my heart.

I felt a certain way about Chris’ parents too. I mean, in court the mom saying “we forgive you, son” made my stomach turn. It’s almost as if she didn’t care her grandchildren were gone; and I know she and Shanan didn’t get along but how is she fine with her son killing his wife?

People like this just reinforce how fukked this world is.

If yall ever get a chance check out this woman's YouTube channel breaking down Chris Watts and his behaviors leading up to the murders and after. Its really interesting.

Don’t remember the story when it came out but watched a few weeks ago. The nikka almost had me going for a second but got damn he was a crazy fukk. The neighbor really gave it away when the cop was at his house and the neighbor was like yeah this nikka acting totally different right now.
