I liked the first episode (especially the before the credits flashback and the inclusion of all the slasher horror tropes) but I'm wary about this show for 2 reasons:

1. Slasher horror TV series always end up spinning their wheels because stretching out a slasher movie concept into 10 hours has never worked out well for any show that has tried it.

2. AHS has a bad habit of going off the rails by it's midway point and with this concept already being one that doesn't lend itself to TV, I'm feeling pessimistic.

And Matthew Morrison's character is fukking hilarious.

I'm just remembering that The Night Stalker being a character in this season is the 2nd season he has been a part of this series, a call back to my favorite character James March's "Devil's Night Ball" with all the legendary killers back during my favorite season "Hotel"

It's a Ryan Murphy show. You should know what to expect
