I finally saw this. Wow. I can’t believe I took so long to watch this. Apart from the awards it won, this movie was severely under promoted. It’s exactly the kind of movie I would watch. The Boondocks meets Hollywood Shuffle meets Bamboozled.

Oh and I used to play football with the actor playing that gangsta nikka from the book. We went to high school...dude was a decent lineman but our team at the time was garbo..... he went all in on acting his senior year which was surprising because he didn't speak. Maybe because he sounded like a nikka mimicking a cac.....but so did I lmao
