Yup. And an irrational response, which this is, is t the move. Knowing damn well he doesn’t want his chain missing out on fast money, Jurassic park money, and even amc international missing out on Bond money since universal handles their international distribution right now
I understand why AMC wants to discourage this, but its been a long time coming.
