Only reason I’ll stick with movie pass is cause that noise works with Alamo drafthouse, if you’ve been to one you know how great they are. Could care less about 3D or imax. I’ll go out of pocket if need be for that.
:Lelumoviepass:

you gonna subscribe to the alamo program they beta testing?

MoviePass still a far better deal.
Nah. Being able to use it on Dolby and Imax easily makes it superior. Plus 3 movies a week as opposed to only 3 a month.

I guess it depends on your location and how often you go to the movies.

Edit: I forgot they brought back the original plan for one movie a day, but they bringing in all types of extra charges. Like for new big movies it will cost an extra $2 or some shyt.

Where do you get 3 a month from? Moviepass is once a day.

Those extras are easily avoidable. You can't avoid the extra $10 it costs to subscribe to this AMC deal. Plus you aren't pigeon-holed into one theater chain, or even just one theater if your town only has one AMC location.

To each their own. AMC in my town isn’t that far and is pretty nice. Plus I’ll take Dolby over a standard 2-D showing any day. :manny:

I remember reading you can’t even reserve tickets with MoviePass. Is that still true or did they change that? Can’t see a movie more than once either. :ld:

Just with the movies I plan on seeing from now till end of July I will easily save around $40-$50.

The extra $10 on the price with no bs extra fees isn’t that bad and with how horrible a shape MoviePass is in as a business who knows what else they will pull or how long they will be around.

I’m glad that MoviePass sparked some competition cause I know if/when they go out of business AMC will raise the price but until then I’m feasting. :blessed:

Even the IMAX screens don't seem to be 4k. I can't fukk with that

Yeah, the 3 by me are nice as fukk.

The one I'll be using is a 5 minute walk from the gig, big ass recliner chairs, press a button and a waiter comes out and takes your order.

Regal is king where I’m at and they have seemed to beat AMC to the punch in regards to leather recliner upgrades and reserved seating so I’m riding MP until the wheels fall off. I’m over needing to see everything thing in IMAX. I’m about to go see Sicario 2 and don’t need to see that in IMAX. Will do the same next week for Antman and Sorry to Bother You.

IMAX just another way to con people into forking over more money just like 3D is.
