I've been called to jury duty 3 times in my life and each time when it was more than 4 black men in the jury pool we were dismissed.

That's the part where I really need to know what happened in deliberations. She showed absolutely no remorse for what she did. From the rehearsed "I thought it was my apartment" to her damning testimony which included her saying intended to kill, she got a slap on the wrist. I would have been fine with 20 as she's have to do at least half. I would have been ecstatic if they went with the recommendation of 28 years as her life would have been effectively over at 60. This sentence was a miscarriage and why a jury of your peers is more likely to work in your favor than taking it to trial in front of a judge.
