I thought minimum 15/20. From what I'm reading the murder tag was going to be hard, & the fact that the prosecution got it to be that, it would not have been hard to sentence.

Anyone getting outraged she didn't get life needs to know that Rae Carruth didn't get that. The only thing I'm upset at, is that she only got 10 years....with a chance at parole. Her life is entirely fukked, but given everything ppl have been saying about the blue thin line, this just keep reinforcing how hard it is to convict cops.

Her life isn't fukked she'll do no more than 3 years before being paroled. No one is upset at her except for Black people who have no power in Dallas. She can get a million dollars for her story once released not to mention the GoFundMe donations she'll receive once out. What would stop her from being a police officer again??
