It's okay to not settle.

You're basically saying that because no one expected the right thing to be done, a half assed attempt should be praised.

In this case, the response should be similar to what you would say to your kids. "That's a nice effort, and I'm glad you did it, but you can do better."

They basically gave her a tough manslaughter sentence. For murder. Again, I appreciate that an attempt at serving justice was made, but better should've been done.

No it's reality. Ain't sht you can do about how many years she got. But everybody expected her to not do no time at all. 10 years is a whole lot more than 0 years. That's why it's a win. And white people wanted her to do 0 years so this is a L for white people in their eyes. 10 years is a long time y'all acting like it's 10 days.
