These corporations don’t give a fukk if their employees get sick, So it’s only right. And don’t automation cost more money?
My cousin who works at the Amazon warehouse out here in Ontario, CA told me two weeks ago that damn near everybody was sick in that bytch and was getting sent home left and right. That's the real reason they need new workers. Yeah they've getting an uptick in business cause stores are closed but in reality the workers are dropping like flies in there
Wouldn't automation possibly so many people either out of work or force them into college that we'll have an overflow of college students (meaning more loans) to the point it's not going to be enough people who can afford to constantly spend on their product? Sounds like automation is probably going to kill alot of competing companies off each other.Low skill workers are easily replaced
What may happen is these type of jobs go the way of Ag jobs and become jobs citizens shy away from.
Wont matter much to Amazon... might even be preferable.
Sidenote: automation is coming no matter what... so if your skillset max's out at picking orders, and packing boxes you might want seriously consider college.
If Automation was ready, Benzo would have had security guards throw every last human out and then have robots kick security out already. He is not keeping these people on payroll because he has a heart of gold.
