What do you brehs think
happened to the American reich after the show? There are several dozen nukes in the American Reich so I don't think the new Fuhrer will just march right in?

the dude (bill?) threw down his iron eagle lapel or whatever and called off the attack on the west. Id assume he would slowly rid the east of nazi propaganda and hold germany at bay with their nuclear arsenal while letting the west be the west. Realistically he would get assassinated by a nazi loyalist but meh. Decent ending

Remember the new American leader stopped
The bomber fleet from blowing up California? My guess would be that he intends to make an oil deal with them.

THEY NEEDED ONE MORE SEASON
TO PROPERLY WRAP THINGS UP.

THIS SEASON WAS RUSHED
AND THE ENDING WAS LIGHT.

THEY ALSO INTRODUCED THE NEGROS
TOO LATE IN THE GAME
TO MAKE THE JAPS TUCK THEIR TAILS
SO FAST.

SMITH BECOMING FUHRER SHOULD
HAVE BEEN THE SEASON FINALE
TO SET UP THE FINAL SEASON.

THE SHOW HAD POTENTIAL
BUT DROPPED THE BALL WITH THE FINAL SEASON.

Brehs ultimately this show is :trash:. I watched up until the first episode of season 3. I really tried to enjoy this show and continued to watch even tho I wanted to stop many times. I like when a show can take outlandish and unorthodox subject matter and make it somewhat believable in this case the axis winning ww2 and running the USA.

This show had so much potential to tell a story about what life would be like in the states had the axis won and there's so much you can do with that for example what would white supremacy look like compared to what we have now? The status and plight of black ppl living in the axis world, revolts and riots, the relationship with other countries world wide etc. The show touched on some of these things but being that the show is called the man in the high castle it focuses on a convoluted story line about war films being shared around the country? and to this day idk if the films are real or it's some type of alternate dimension or something out of a Christopher nolan screenplay but ultimately it misses the mark badly.

I know I'm juelzing but damn this show had potential. I enjoyed the storyline about the nazis almost wiping out the globe but the Highcastle storyline put me off once and for all. I also hate when a character dies and then comes back. It's like what the fukk :mindblown:...The 2 main Japanese actors were great, John Smith stood out and I liked the juliana chick.

Dont bother with this show.

It’s funny in the middle of season 1, I kind of felt that this series had tons of potential and that it would never reach that quality, and this post perfectly summarizes what this show is about. A final season with lots of potential to end well but ultimately failing tremendously. Season 4 started with the death of main characters but still you give it a shot and the addition of the BCR and their feelings about returning to the America of old touches base with alot thats going on nowadays, but all in all it is rushed with much to be desired

Thanks for the review, I’m just two episodes in...it’s ok thus far but not great. And I’m wearing thin of the White man’s being oppressed tenor. Seriously considering throwing this in the bushes. Writing doesn’t seem good enough for me to power through it.

I'm not going to call this a top-tier show, but by the time you get to the end to the end of Season 3, you'll know where the films come from and why the Nazis care about the information in them.

Other than finding out more about the films, is this really worth watching til the end? Reading that it may have been canceled prematurely also isn’t giving me motivation to stick with it...

Later seasons get better, so I would stick with it.
The very last scene of the finale makes no sense, though.
