This.
Consumers will always use the best and most convenient e-commerce site(amazon), will always gravitate towards the most popular social network platform(Facebook), and use the best most convenient software available(google, Apple, Microsoft).

These natural monopolies are fine IMO:yeshrug:
There's no such thing as a 'natural' monopoly. You as a consumer only have the convenience that they bestow upon you, not what the market has deemed fair.

When Amazon has bought out, stolen secrets from or alienated the competition, then they dictate the rules and we live by them. The 'rules' seem great and consumer-friendly right now so it is easy to say that they aren't harming anyone.

They are already unethical when it comes to their business practices, you don't wait until they become unethical towards consumers to reel in their power. By then it's too late

Hol up... people can't see why amazon using their platform to undermine sellers who use their platform is undesirable?
I don’t think this is going to end well for small businesses competing with Amazon on Amazon’s platform.

...we will see though.

Breh I hate to break this to you, but this is something that's already been implemented by more than a handful of companies who employ drivers nationwide, including the company I work for and I'm not even a driver. Within the next 10 years expect this to become the standard for truck drivers, bus drivers, tow truckers etc

For anyone who's got a privacy problem, remember there's 10+ people who will gladly take the job u don't want
