I get that Kong was wrong for violence against another employee but what business sense does releasing Kong make?
This is the second time she's attacked another employee backstage. This time it was the world champion's wife. If TSC didn't like Kong and liked Reby the attitude towards this situation here would be completely different. Objectively, The Hardy Boyz are much more important to TNA than Kong, and Kong attacked a member of their family.

The Knockouts division is so small that having a monster character like Kong only hurts the other women in the long run since their is nobody that can believably beat her. Storyline wise she was in a 4 on 2 feud so her release at least makes it closer at 3 vs 2 and she's faced everyone on the roster except her stable mates the Dollhouse so there wasn't anything else to do. We don't need anymore Kong vs Gail Kim matches so at the least her release forces TNA to do something else and allows Kong to move on. I think it's best for everyone.

False. And this is why TNA will always be a struggle promotion. Yes, Kong was wrong for laying hands on someone that was not signed to the company at the time. And, yes, Reby was wrong for provoking Kong, again. Reby should've continue dressing separately from the rest of the KOs in the UK, like she was doing in the States. Trust and believe, Reby is going to mouth off to another KO and continue to cause problems within TNA, again.

Releasing Kong is not going to solve their lackluster, under-filled KO roster issue. Instead of wasting money on Reby, TNA should been using that money to find more women wrestlers for their KO division. But TNA has proved time and time again that they can be ass backwards with their business decisions.

Why TNA is continuing to build their company around the Hardys is baffling. Everyone in the Hardys age group is either retiring or gearing up for a career change. If Impact rating dip again, then Dixie and company need to re-think Matt being their main champ.

None. But, this is TNA, home of questionable business decision and struggle finances.
If Fatt needs his current whore to get over, proof his title reign and heel persona is pure garbage.

When did Reby provoke Kong? We don't know anything that happened except for Kong attacking Reby.

How is releasing Kong backwards? So they should have pissed off their world champion and their biggest draw to keep someone who had nothing left to do in TNA?

Jeff Hardy is the biggest star TNA has. That's why the company is built around him, it's that simple. Who should they build around? Their isn't much affordable young talent out there that would make a difference. TNA isn't a struggle promotion. Their still the best option for most wrestlers in America other than WWE. If their a struggle promotion then every indy ever is a struggle promotion.

I would have said first challenger when she returns the night after Mania :patrice:
I doubt WWE takes her after what happened. They released Del Rio over fear of litigation. They'd be taking a hothead into a hotbed. To me it's not worth the R/R. This isn't the 1990's.

Kong was stupid for what she did. Her husband has the stroke right now, so she would've had to get her timing right and make the fight mutual, but especially not so close to her kid. It might give people hard feelings to read this kind of shyt, or watch it, but it has implications in the present world, especially on the job. She was already thinking about retirement though, so I guess she finally got it.

Whoa... Matt Hardy is NOT TNA's biggest draw. People do not arrive to an arena to see Matt Hardy. Youre right that they shouldnt go against the person they put the belt on (as stupid a decision as it is). Reby is a reported shyt stirrer and the way things go in a locker room is if a veteran tells you to dress in the hallway, you dress in the hallway.

When Kong and Reby worked the indies together. And Reby has a very public history of mouthing off to KOs and Divas.
If the KO roster is thin as hell, why release a much needed KO? Reby can't bring anything to KO division and Matt is not big draw (check the drop in viewers when TNA can back to the States).
Jeff is injured and it seems like he's bidding his time until he is able to return to the WWE and retire. TNA need to use this opportunity to find fresh young talent. Instead, they put their main title on Jeff's brother. Without Jeff, Matt is nothing. Just look how fast TNA dropped him in 2011. With their piss poor decision making and wasting perfect chances to grow, TNA is a struggle promotion.

There is a slim chance that Kong can come back to the WWE and stay in NXT because they don't even acknowledge TNA and the altercation was with un-singed enchantment talent.

I wouldn't say the KO roster is thin. It looks pretty healthy to me right now they just need to end the Dollhouse and Beautiful People and start a few KO storylines. Kong is not "much needed" at all. She's a monster who squashes all the other KO's not named Gail, that hasn't done anyone any favors. Reby is more useful as heat for Matt alone than Kong is right now.

Jeff is the best they can do right now. I agree that they should be looking for more talent, and I believe they are. The problem is there isn't much as far as fresh young talent with actual name value. They had deals in place for Del Rio, AJ Styles, Gallows, and Karl Anderson and all of them ended up getting signed by WWE instead. They recently brought in Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis. Their trying, but I can't think of many names that would actually make a difference that they can bring in. Even out of the guys they tried to get, Del Rio and AJ are about the same age as Jeff.

Matt by himself is a headliner in any indy company. He has decent name value and he's still entertaining on the mic as a heel.

If second place is a struggle, every company doing worse than TNA is a struggle company. TNA's made some dumb decisions but sticking with the Hardys isn't one of them.

That's carny bullshyt who gets dressed in a hallway

and I said Jeff Hardy is the biggest draw TNA has not Matt.
Code of the locker room. Its carny but who is Reby Hardy of all people to disobey it? When Batista and Booker had beef they settled it. When Miz had heat he dressed in the hallway. Same as Matt Striker. She was a guest who had disrespected a member of the locker room and isnt even that valuable a member of the roster. Kong is not the only one at fault.

Side note have any other knockouts or anyone else reported how they feel on the matter? That is a huge backstage violation on both sides.

Doesn't Kong have a history of putting her hands on people?
Bubba the love Sponge made a joke directly after the massive earthquake in Haiti. Not sure what was said but Kong asked him to apologize, he refused, so she whooped his ass. Morally i see nothing wrong with that. Professionally it was stupid. I feel the same about Reby.
