it depends how literal you wanna put this 'next jordan' question...

So far this season - he has reminded me of young jordan too.... he's so damn QUICK and his midrange game is raw but effective due to his insane athletic ability + he's a good defender.

keep in mind he's younger than rookie MJ + arguably has better physical attributes and potential...

this thread could easily be is rookie wiggins the next rookie jordan.

but when you mention next MJ.. there's 6 rings, finals mvp's, mvp's you get the picture..

If you ever wanna compare anyone to MJ you have to look at their willingness to absolutely destroy their opponents and the killer instinct to be the GOAT.

Hell fukking nah.

MJ came in the league age 21-22 and averaged 28 PPG.

oh yeah - no doubt.. what i meant was rookie wiggins aka 19 year old avg'ing 20ppg in the big leagues . can be compared to jordan of the same age...

the overrall premise of my post stands tho i.e age for age, still somewhat comparable.

Wiggins will average 28ppg when he's 21-22.

he was 19-20 this year and dropped 17/5/2. I think he makes a quantum leap next year at 20-21 to becoming a 25/5/4 player.

in his 3rd season when he's 21-22 like rookie Jordan, I expect him to lead the T-Wolves to the playoffs putting up 28/6/5 and being a leading MVP candidate ala Anthony Davis this season.

How is Exum progressing as the next Kobe? :leon:

I'll take an L on that one. I made that projection based on just ONE BASKETBALL GAME. the nike hoops summit in 2013 when he balled out. he looked like a future superstar in that game. obviously that was the best game of his career, cause dude has looked like a chump ever since.

my projection on wiggins was based on watching him play 30+ games in college. I was wrong intially after his first couple of games when I said he'd be the next Shawn Marion.

exum showed me that you can't get enamored about a player based on ONE GAME.
