Am I the only one who stacks up vacation time at work?

brehs i get 120hrs of pay time off and 35hrs of time off with no pay

fukk saving them..i used them every 2mths...for 4 day vacay or 5 days

Seems like Canadians get a lot of time off. We get 15 days of PTO and all the federal holidays. I think I got 90 hours saved up so far.

I currently have 3 weeks of vacation saved (it carries over) and like the same amount of sick time minus 3.5 days.

so here I am with about 180 hours of vacation stacked up right now. I just got an email from HR talking about we can sell up to 60 hours back now.

the catch is, that you have to pay a 10% vig off the top. meaning if I sell 60 hours, I only get paid for 54 hours

plus that shyt gets taxed. luckily they don't take out insurance. it would still be an aight check I guess, but what would ya'll do if ur me? sell the 60 hours or keep on stacking it?

Man, thats how they try to get you, with that 10% "tax". That email was specially for cats like you saving up those hours. They know some suckers out there will take that cut, and they save money.

Tell em You earned those hours. Use them.

Start taken some of those hours little by little and enjoy life and your family, bruh. Summer is almost here. Couple days with the fam will work wonders. Couple days on your own works even better wonders.
