that's a chance you should be willing to take, and if they were to derail the thread, they'd only be proving your point.

let the trolls have a chance to tell their side and then we can all reach our own independent conclusions and move forward.

I've had issues with some of the things @Poitier and @Napoleon have said, and I'm more than sure they don't agree with a lot of what I say, but I always try to maintain a level of respect, if I take issue to something, I'll hit them up and they'll address it and we'll dap each other up and keep it moving.

at the end of the day, we're all Black, and our problems are much deeper than which section we should post race topics in.

There is a difference. There are good posters like @mrken12 and @Matt504, and even @aaaaaaa who are genuine and post valuable and knowledge information in informative threads.
But unfortunately they have to suffer with the handful of race trolls who only troll the forums for attention and daps. And they are easy to spot.

but we're kidding ourselves if we're gonna say the majority of race-themed posters had the same intentions; for every positive and uplifting race topic, there were 10 i hate cacs/black people aint shyt/blacks taking Ls/cacs gon cac threads full of new nikkas firing off whatever racial buzzwords were poppin at the time and adding nothing of substance or value in the hopes of getting rewarded with some daps, reps or cosigns

the race track was seen as a graveyard because threads like those would get shipped off there and everyone would forget about them, as they should...but now the staff is trying to legitimize the race track by expanding it and making it a main standalone forum expressly devoted to the serious and genuine threads and posters that should be making something out of it

and it is shytty that the genuine posters are getting lumped in with the race trolls, but everyone is neglecting the fact that they're lumping the genuine TLR posters in with the "ass eating, tranny loving, black woman hating, gay newblack c00n" posters

it goes both ways and this is coming from a career scumbag troll

because if a majority of these quasi-militant, pro-black-when-it's-convenient posters weren't doing it for daps, there would be no one disagreeing with the move to a new forum with less visibility but more freedom to talk about the racial topics they pine for

I don't care about daps or validation. I get way more daps when I make funny or snarky posts than I do when I make intelligent well though out posts. The problem is the race track has just a small fraction of the viewers and traffic. You could make the most intelligent mind blowing posts in there but it doesn't matter if no one sees it.

the viewers and traffic of the race track right now should be indicative of a couple things

- it's still in it's infancy as a standalone forum, so it will take time for it to flesh out and mature...people who genuinely want to discuss racial issues will go there to do so, and bandwagon race trolls who don't really give a fukk about race topics and can't be bothered to go down the forum list will be weeded out over time

- if not, maybe not as many people here are as interested in rehashed race topics as we think

I feel where both of you guys are coming from but Char Char is right, it may take a while, but the Race Track will eventually grow and get more traffic, especially if there are quality threads and discussion.

why does the race track have no viewers, and what's stopping the genuinely pro-black posters from making it popular and bringing viewers to it?

the best way i can think of to do that would be by posting intellectually honest, powerful and uplifting threads in it it has to start somewhere, at one point every forum was "an off the way sub-forum with no viewers"...a forum is only as worthwhile as the posts in it

as a day 1 member of the coli i can personally attest to this...it took effort from all of us to slowly build the coli up, section by section...we didn't just migrate over here with all these users and traffic...but if you build it, they will come friend
