I haven’t gotten too deep into the Opium wars yet, but I’m starting to study Mandarin and want to balance that with learning the history of that land so I’ll get familiar with it very soon.

I actually learned this in school and theres nothing preventing folks from finding out these things. They just dont care to know let alone even asking questions like "where does the name Africa come from?"
