His Jumper has become better, Lebron's best Basketball is still yet to come.
agree w/ the first part, not the second.
bosh accepting his role on this team and being comfortable w/ it are two different things. he adjusted his game because bron and wade dominate the ball so much. problem w/ Miami, this year is they thought they could roll that shyt into another ship instead of moving bosh up a spot as the 2nd option; give him some more looks in the post early. run more plays for him less than 20 ft from the bucket. look at the way pop has changed timbot's role over the last 5 years and his falloff wasn't as profound as wade's. if it aint broke, don't fix it, but if that shyt is in the shop every other week, its time...
80s lakers are prolly the last team to correctly transition from one star to the next with kareem to magic & worthy...and win
Breh...have we not just been witnesses to the Spurs winning 5 titles over a span of 15 years with three differents Finals MVP, AFTER transitionning from D. Rob to Duncan ?
pop got it right, eventually, but there were minor bumps in their road with handing the stix from tim to tony. the lakers transition was flawless. they were in contention EVERY YEAR. no blips

fair enough. I guess when I say contention, I mean favored and regularly appearing in june. going from that last ship against clev thru that last run the lakers had, til last year was a big gap in finals appearances. they weren't the major players they had been and I felt like they got old depending on Duncan's old knees too much.Pop has won 50 games every year for 15 years straight. They've always been in contention. They might not have been the best team or favorite like the 80s Lakers were (and who was), but they've been a consistent contender for that long. Even our Lakers can't say that.

I feel ya. Contenders yes, favorites at least in their conference...no. Being a threat every year to win is all you can ask for though. That's much more than any team can ever say.
I just hope the Post Kobe years aren't as bad as the post Shaq/Pre-Pau era was.
Even the Post Magic Era after his initial retirement wasn't that bad looking back. Sedale Threatt (copped his Lakers jersey) having the special move in Lakers vs Bulls was . Worthy . Playing NBA showdown on the genesis back in high school and seeing Vlade have the EA "special move" was just .
I'm wondering how true the reports are but people are coming out now saying Lebron was responsible for the amount of minutes he was playing the regular season and would regularly check himself in to games on his on or refuse to come out at times.LeBron's beef with Miami coaching and management is the handling of his minutes and how they limited Wade's time on the court during the regular season.
He knows his career will be shortened if he has to play these big minutes every single night and he was frustrated all season.
The Spurs started to limit Duncan's minutes around 2005-2006 in the regular season and he's played less and less since then. Duncan was the same age as LeBron is right now.
I think it's going to be one of his demands in free agency... to limit his minutes during the regular season to extend his career.
I really don't think so. His defense will take a significant hit as soon as next season IMO.His Jumper has become better, Lebron's best Basketball is still yet to come.
