I'm well aware of how :mjpls: this post is gonna sound but...

I feel like in the regular season running QB's dominate but that shyt does not work when it matters (in the 'offs).

running QB's don't win superbowls. they just don't. watching Jalen Hurts is painful honestly cuz I just know the Eagles are gonna flop come playoff time when defenses really clamp down on that type of play

There are running qbs that can throw. Lamar, Allen, Mahomes.

Then you have Daniel Jones and Daniel Hurts
i'm talking about run-first QB's like Hurts & Lamar

guys like Mahomes & Allen are throw-first always; only running when there are no other options

Man, anybody who can throw and run is a menace.

Straight up nothing a defense can do against an elusive QB with a cannon arm and knows how to play football.

The absolute only downside is taking a bad hit which can also occur in the pocket. It's worth the risk.

In general, playoff football slows down and the team who can eat clock while playing better defense usually wins. It basically comes down to playing defense and trying to be the last one with the ball when the score is close.

Philly has such a damn good offensive line that they look unstoppable with Hurts under center.

Cowboys may or may not be able to stop them....Dak will put up a lot of points but the defense against Philly is a ???

San Francisco might give them problems.

I don't trust Hurts as a passer. Big thing is to avoid trying to sack him too much. Keep lane discipline and force him to go through progressions. Don't chase a runner...just wait for him to move forward and then tackle.

No QB in the NFL can be a run first QB (whatever that means), this continues to be a dumb take. Lamar and Hurts are good passers as well. Mobility is becoming more and more important for the NFL.

No, I’m a lifelong 49ers fan and loved Steve Young. I also was a fan of Randall Cunningham.

As far as being “run first”, well yeah, the job is to pass the ball, but I like watching QBs who can do both. Young was a little frustrating at first but he later learned to balance it out with his arm and legs.

Jalen Hurts is 14th in yards, 10th in completion percentage, 4th in yards per completion, 9th in TDs, 3rd in interceptions, 4th in QBR and 3rd in QB rating.

1/4th of his rushing yards this season came against Green Bay. Usually the Eagles run him in power or as part of a read option package.I don’t know what you mean by “run first” because it certainly isn’t Jalen Hurts.

Jalen Hurt and Josh Allen got the same amount of rushing yards. I guess when you white you’re considered dynamic but when you black it’s first run he’s just a running back you can’t win with that. :mjpls:
