Hmmm...I get the options thing. Personally, I've dated mostly black women my entire life. Now, I would date women of other races and have done so, but I will marry a black woman. Not on some "black women are queens" stuff, but because I want my assets to remain in black hands...my children. Black people already have so few tangible resources that if all the black men with resources were to marry out, the black community would continue its downward spiral. So, for me, its more strategic, but at the same time, black women, who have their minds right, are the beez-neez.
I must say though, that just because someone only dates black does not really mean anything. Some date black because they truly love and are attracted to their black counterpart. Others date black because, as the option statement goes, they simply can't fulfill their desires of getting with non-blacks. As I traverse Instagram, I see evidence of this when viewing the #mcm pics of white dudes from black chicks even though they're the prototypical, round-the-way type black chicks that will never meet and get the white guys they fantasize about. Maybe for a one night stand or some jumpoff action, but that's as far as it will go.
So, I can truly appreciate the "only want black" sentiment IF its real love and attraction for your people. Otherwise, its shadows and dust.
