You can't skip season 2 of The Wire cause the storyline with Barksdale, Omar and them progresses though the season, just that Frank Sabaka and his associates are the main focus of the show for S2.

I'm not up to season 3 yet but I'd imagine the viewer would be confused if they went straight from S1 to S3.

Nah you can skip all of season 2. Just go on YouTube and watch season 2 wire recap

Save yourself about 13 hours

Season 2 was so bad breh

A man vs a fly? Sounds intense. Is it some sort of super fly? Who dies? The fly or the meth cook? :ohhh:
the Mexican cook at Los pollos hermanos

But I skipped that episode, everything continued to make sense, if I ever watch all of breaking bad again, I'll watch it, but yea...,fukk that episode

I wonder how the brehs who complain about the "Fly" episode got though season 4B of the Walking Dead :lupe:

I remember after I watched this episode I went on it its wiki page and it aired at the same time as the series finale of Lost :ohhh:

Its funny this seems to be the only place on the net that think season 2 is trash :patrice: I think the only reason yall saying its trash cause its not as hood as season 1 and cacs is the main focus of the show, be honest breh :mjpls:

Some of ya'll have some serious ADHD. At that point in the series you'd think most people would trust the writers at this point and roll with every episode, even the slow ones. Don't skip Breaking Bad episodes.

Lol. It's my favorite episode of the series. I dont know how people were bored by it. If you can't see that it's deeper than just "A guy chasing a fly for 40 minutes" then I don't know what to tell you

Arguably one of the most symbolic and foreshadowed episode of the entire series..... Don't get disgusted because it's slow paced and embraced the significance of things that are coming ahead.

For starters, it represented Walter White's alter-ego. This obsession of trying to kill the fly is his obsession of his own internal struggle. The talk about how the fly can contaminate the entire batch is what his alter-ego is doing with his own world, his marriage, his own character, everything.

It ALSO symbolizes the watchful eye of Gus. He's everywhere and no matter what they try to do to get rid of him, Gus always found a way to get the upper-hand... until Walter White finally wins.

It was also showcased Walt's guilt over the death of Jane and him ALMOST telling Jesse. There the fly symbolizes Jane... he ever tells Jesse "the fly could stay up there forever".

It's also the the very 1st time Jesse "kills" anything.
