I don't either. It was like a 6 minute convo full of feelings, regret and unrequited love
It actually made Shades a tragic character, IMO. That convo and the fallout. Homie really got caught up in, and screwed over by his feelings for the people closest to him despite his being the most in control and level headed, and one of the most honorable people on the show.
One of my favorite characters of the series.

When Shades and Comanche where in the barbershop sitting down and talking you can tell they were sexually intimate in prison. They didn’t say it explicitly but you can tell they had sex with each other.

Bushmaster is that dude. The whole season made me want some jerk chicken.
All the mentions of Cottonmouth made me think he was going to show up or something. Maybe he's resurrected by the Infinity stones and shows up in season 3.
Mariah is a sexy MILF. The things I would do to her old ass.
