Good season with a few letdowns. I wanted Bushmaster to kill Mariah and every time Luke Cage stopped him, I got mad at Luke Cage for it. It feels like Bushmaster coming to Harlem was a waste of time because he didn't get to kill Mariah. He just suddenly left? LAME. Hopefully he comes back to season 3 and they find a way to redeem his character because they dropped the ball with that.

I didn't like Shades becoming a snitch, but it was nice Shades finally got justice for his crimes since he skated at the end of season 1.

I wanted Mariah to die so bad, but at the same time she grew on me as a character when she started to become more ignorant and ratchet in how she talked.

I knew Tilda was going to kill Mariah when she gave her the kiss of death. It would have been more satisfying for me if Bushmaster did it though. It was surprising to see Luke Cage get ownership of the club. Tilda was clearly upset and I'm guessing that will be some kind of storyline in season 3.

It was nice to see Jadakiss, KRS and Rakim. Better than season 1 definitely.

Also I know its been said before, But Mike Coulter(cage) is a HORRIBLE actor!. He's not believable in any scene, very robotic fighting moves, it looks like he even has a hard time saying his lines. The acting has been excellent but he's the lead but hes the WORST part of the show with his horrible acting..

Every character in every scene outshines him. Diamondback, bushmaster, cottonmouth, misty, Ms.Stokes, shades, hell even commanche & others steal EVERY scene with him. They are carrying him. I NEVER scene a show like where the lead is this bad.

Geez hes horrible, sorry for the rant.

Get outperformed by an 10,000+ yds NFL Running back brehs

Just finished this.. season was hard to watch at first but once I accepted some things it became watchable.

Firstly the fake Jamaican accents were horrible all around. Taye Diggs level of shyt. There are alot of Jamaican actors that could have played Bushmaster.

The dialogue was horrible. They tried wayyyyy too hard to work in pop culture references. It's like some cac over at buzzfeed wrote it.

Alfre Woodard should not have played Mariah. She was very hard to watch

Like I said. Every person Bushmaster killed was either a criminal piece of shyt or directly connected to Mariah. Killmonger killed his own fukkin girlfriend for no reason whatsoever. Bushmaster's whole family got MASSACRED by Mariah and he STILL spared her daughter. The bytch killed men, women AND children. And that's after her family killed his moms, pops, and even shot him at 13 years old. Killmonger was 9 when his father got killed. For one. He didnt WITNESS his father get murdered. He came and saw him after the fact. Bushmaster watched his mom suffer and get burned alive right in front of his face. A 9 year old is scared and confused when they witness death. A 13 year old is going thru puberty and old enough to understand death perfectly but also isnt emotionally stable enough to deal with the pain. Bushmaster ain't kill nobody innocent. And none of his family or friends. Killmonger did.

You going too hard to defend a cat that’s clearly a villain. The first time we see Bushmaster he drags a knife across a dudes eyes in gory fashion for the crime of not wanting to go to war with Luke Cage. What exactly did that dude do to Bush to warrant getting deaded like that? :stopitslime: This nikka was cutting off heads and left them for all of New York City and YouTube to see :stopitslime: are you that desensitized to violence now that you think cutting and sawing off heads ain’t a big deal :stopitslime: He had Pirahna’s head floating in a water tank too. Cmon son. That nikka was crazy. Don’t have kids if you can’t see the difference between a clear little ass kid coming home to see his dad dead vs. an clear teenager seeing his family killed. Both are traumatic experiences of course but, only one was at an age where he really shouldn’t have had to see that. This is why we have different movie ratings for different ages bruh :stopitslime: Little kids just ain’t meant to see their dad dead and bloody in the apartment. Clinical psychology would definitely disagree with you bruh. It definitely explains all of Killmonger’s behavior later on in the movie. I feel for Bush too on some level but I sympathize with Erik more. He was younger and after finding his dad dead he had no one and was orphaned basically (his mom was supposedly in jail according to Coogler). Bush had his uncle, aunt and all his friends in Jamaica.
