Finished the season. It's definitely more consistent than the first but I gotta keep it 100, they really need to stop doing this 13 episode shyt. Nothing was outright bad this season save a few scenes (that dab and almost every time Shades and Mariah were on screen), but they could've told this in 8-10 episodes. Then again, Defenders tried to do 8 episodes and even that stunk up the joint. They say Iron Fist was better in this season that his own show. I almost want to check out season 2 of that if they have the sense enough to improve things.
Boss Cage for season 3
Bushmaster still out there and I know Tilda is going to want her rightful ownership of Harlem's Paradise. Speaking of which, that heel turn seemed too sudden for me. Yeah, she actually has motive but it didn't feel natural. To be honest, if she turned somewhere during that song she had, I never saw it because I fast forwarded through that shyt. Enough was enough. :timmyimout:
Gonna miss Alfre Woodard acting a fool though
Far as "Saint" Claire, she can stay gone far as I'm concerned. This heffa bouncing from show to showtrying to be the voice of reason, meddling in everyone's affairs. Hoe sit down
The Dab was bad but I thought Colter's line reading of "brethren" in a bad Jamaican accent and the "bytch, please" line to Mariah in the interrogation room were so much worse.
Tilda's switch bugged me. I get her wanting to remove her mom from the world of the living since she finally realized just how big of a monster Mariah was but the other change in her personality seemed to come out of nowhere.
And Claire can die off-screen and all we get is a note from letting everyone know she is gone.

It's weird because with the exception of Punisher and this season of LC I felt like the seasons were usually dragged out due to the 13 episodes. But then when they had the shorter season with the Defenders I felt like the pacing was really off and it felt like things were rushed without proper development
lil bruh went from slanging CDs, tshirts, getting his hood tmz on, to getting to run the barbershop. Salute that young black man
My best friend swept dust at a barber shop here as an illegal immigrant. He learned to cut hair eventually and was ill with the blade, he stood w his moms till like he was 30 but he stacked chips because a resident alien and now owns the shop he used to sweep hair on. Plus he added a spot for the women to do whatever that weird shyt is they for eyebrows. We had a party for his come up and that shyt was he was always one of the cool kids in the hood that got along w everybody so he flipped that into support for his shop. Damn im high as fukk and that scene got me in my feels
Yeah, that score is just petty like even if this didn't resonate a fukking 4/10? Maybe this why that lady was talking about diversifying critics because this shyt just wasn't made for that reviewer if he thought this was a bad season.
