Yup. Had to be done, but they also managed to make it look like real character growth rather than an about face, which is what you should do. Heroes for Hire would be a good look right now

Still can't get over the shyt accents and overuse of the slang and kissing teeth
I hear you - but I get why they did it. The slang is thrown in to do some of the heavy lifting when the accents aren't as strong as they could be.
shyt's a delicate balance - I've been writing something which needs a bunch of slang in it, recently - if you put in too much, 'civilians' won't get it. Too little and you risk losing authenticity.
Real talk - they owe Cheo Coker big time for this.
There was no way I was coming back for Iron Fist Season 2 with Scott Buck's characterization of Danny as the foundation.
Instead of Defenders - I'd happily take a 'Heroes For Hire' show anchored by Luke, Danny, Misty and Colleen, with cameos from Daredevil, Jessica and The Punisher.

She's making sense in everything she's saying tho man. You need someone to question the main character and question them when they're headed down the wrong path.
He almost killed a guy with his bare hands in front of the guy's family and acted as if it wasn't a big deal. And then he got mad at Claire and punched a hole through a wall. She's not saying be a pacifist. She's saying don't lose who he is. Luke's not a killer and Luke had some sort of control. The moments she came at him were when he was losing control and becoming a murderer. It's perfectly reasonable for him to do his job and not become the people he's going after. That's the thing in every superhero show/comic book/movie. Even Batman has his limits and I don't think anyone would call him a pacifist.
