Superstar
Jay was a smart dude and had a smart and thorough squad around him...he WAS going to make moves regardless. Hell I could see Big getting tired of Puff flashy bullshyt and doing more business with Jay camp as time went on. Pac WAS the wildcard though. The worst thing is I think Nas would have suffered the most if history was reversed because he didn't really have the people around him that would have been able to stop BOTH those juggernauts from eclipsing him![]()
I can't say Nas would have suffered. It was written was double plat...while biggie was ALIVE so he proved he would be successful with or without Biggie. Jay is the one who never really blew until Biggie died. Real talk, Biggie's death is problem the best thing to happen to Jay career wise. They're personas are too similar and I think biggie would have just overshadowed him. Bad Boy would have continued to run shyt with Big, Lox, Mase, etc and Roc would have looked like a bad boy jr label in comparison.
It would be interesting to see where Biggie and Nas relationship would be considering they were in friendly competition that was escalating at the time of Big's death. Would Nas have replied to Kick in the Door? Ether might have ended up being about Biggie
