Joel is a fine actor but he doesn't have a lot of range and he isn't meant for blockbuster summer type flicks.
Even though the movie wasn't that great he was great in edge of winter with Tom Holland. He's more suited to specific type of roles,low life dirt bag shady types.

I can’t speak of the last season but that’s roughly how much GOT cost per episode.
Early seasons of GOT was making around the same or a little less than that per episode. Kinnaman probably didn't know and hit the hyperbole. GOT didn't start going really big till Blackwater Watch episode which was around 8 million. Season 6 and onwards were reaching 10 million.
Even so, 6 million an ep ain't no joke and netflix going hard for that hbo status.
