I mean, yeah that's the case with him but doesn't make him a trump apologist moreover what does that have to do with Susan Rice's own words and actions which can/should be judged on their own merits.

Indeed, that's kinda what I'm asking: what is Aaron Maté actually suggesting about Susan Rice's feelings on BLM?

Does he believe she's saying the whole movement is illegitimate? Because that's not consistent with her support for the protests in the past.

Moreover, it's not even consistent with what she's saying in this clip, she's clearly talking about infiltration and not the protests as a whole.

The clip starts with her saying

"...who've come to try to hijack those protests, and turn them into something very different."

^^I'm already suspect that they start her off mid-sentence, but the fragment specifically mentions "hijacking".

Simple question:

What is Susan Rice's actual position on Black Lives Matter? Are you suggesting she's some sort of secret anti-Black activist? :heh:

I'm not suggesting she's an anti-black activist I don't know where you got that from, I am saying she should not be saying things like this without evidence.
I also dont' see a difference between Trump saying BLM is maybe funded by Soros, except she is saying a foreign govt.
You are trying to derail the debate, I'm saying why did she go on CNN to undermine the movement by saying this without any proof? Why?

She's speaking of infiltration into BLM in order to undermine the protests, not that the movement itself is a Russian op. :snoop:
She's speaking of a foreign govt infiltrating BLM without any evidence and she went on CNN to say this.
There was absolutely no need to do that

They said the same about Tulsi without any evidence
And she is here saying it about BLM again without any evidence.

Imagine if Trump said things like this, as he always does, without any evidence?

If you say oh it's an educated guess and she went to say that on CNN is just you trivializing her position.
She should not have said this without evidence, and she did undermine the movement by saying this.

So, now you'll be accused of being an alt-right infiltrator if you don't sit idly by and just let ya'll post goofy ass shyt because it's pro-Democrat.

I'll say this; if ya'll don't learn that a part of politics is grilling the shyt outta the politician you plan on voting for we'll be right back here in four years trying to convince ourselves the lesser of two evil.

A poster said 44/Orange Cheetoe ruined the country in three years--partially true, but, most of our complaints, today are the same ones a lot of people had five years ago (gentrification, police murder, economic inequality, etc.) but you were called a co*n because the president had a Kenyan father.

I can avoid political discussion for three months.

I have most of the Democrat shilling, spamming trolls on ignore.

Also, I have most of these Trump-Set, contrarian clowns on ignore, too.

One thing that you mentioned that I really want to make a point of.

Remember when it was uncool to speak about racism, calling it out in society and etc??? The funny thing is the same people who refused to talk about this the last decade before Trayvon and BLM are now trying to speak on it and act like they always cared. I remember how many folks would be like :whoa: or:camby: pathetic.

I'll offer this (because it's important); it's time to get comfortable being critical of Biden.

If he's going to be president, it should be because he'll be easier to push our agenda through than 45.

I'm done treating him and the DNC like saviors when their incompetence got us here.
I been comfortable with that breh...

I have never and will never advocate for silencing folk for CONSTRUCTIVE FACT based criticism of any party or candidate...In fact in this same thread I wrote a post voicing my concern with cancel culture finding its way here...

My whole point with the post you quoted is, you can't say bu bu but crime bill advocating not voting for Biden fully knowing that directly benefits Trump who is a far worse and unacceptable alternative for the black community...

He kinda is though. I knew what time it was after he ate up Bill Barr's bullshyt without question. Matt Taibbi too. And Glenn Greenwald.

So the cadre of left-wing media (i.e..the intercept and such) that didn't cosign Russiagate are to be classed as Trump apologists? :snoop:

Maybe they just made an empirical judgment on the evidence or lack thereof. This is why I don't post in HL and I stopped visiting Democratic Underground years ago. I'm not trying to have intraleft squabbles.

FYI just to add to this thread
Susan Rice, she on Biden's VP Shortlist, she was on CNN and said Russia is behind the Black Lives Matter movement, and she said she even wouldn't be suprised if Russia was funding BLM.

just leaving that there

Russian 2016 Influence Operation Targeted African-Americans on Social Media

To what extent did Russia’s social media effort in 2016 suppress the black vote?

Russian trolls' chief target was 'black US voters'

Russian trolls tried to convince African Americans not to vote in 2016, US Senate says

NPR Choice page

Russians have been trying to hijack Black political movements for their own gains for years. :snoop:

If they've been trying to incite riots and keep Black people from the polls under the guise of BLM, why wouldn't they try to infiltrate protests directly? :mindblown:

Are y'all really suggesting that groups aren't trying to undermine and de-legitimize BLM? :gucci:

And no, she has not read recent intelligence reports, but she was National Security Advisor from 2013 to 2017. Which would mean she understands how the Russians work, and can make an educated guess. :dwillhuh:
#Trumpset can't win a debate on facts and logic because truth doesn't favor their stance :coffee:

From what I gather the criticism from him and those like-minded individuals is that she's trying to shoehorn russiagate into this moment to divert the energy and bring it back to an issue that is over and that he was summarily right about. It all seems fairly vague. We know that foreign governments have always been interested in black, or left-wing "insurgent" movements, but so are the cops and The Feds for that matter.

No, the Intercept is largely good. I said their names because I wanted to be specific.

Barr's memo/letter, which we now know as wildly inaccurate, is what I'm talking about.

My same issue with Joy Reid pushing the idea that #ADOS is Russian Bots just because it's not towing the DNC/Liberal line about the needs of black voters.
