Thread turning into a bootlickers and corporate shill consortium.

Folks will bytch about how oppressive da system is but as soon as ANY slight appearance of those that want change is shown, they clam up and double back to show their allegiance to a
system that they claim to loathe. Some of y'all secretly love that shyt and would be in absolute glee to have da power to oppress other groups via economics or otherwise in da same manner as these peckerwoods that y'all adore offline and behind closed doors. Some of da same dudes that be in these thread foolishly thinkin' that these same o'fays are ever gonna give y'all reparations. It's quite interesting to see.

B b b but wait and see. You gonna take those jobs soon enough.

I did the warehouse thing back in school and was fired for running to clock out for my 30-minute lunch break. They said it was a safety violation. Currently, in the corporate setting, it has fewer rules, but it still sucks. I am currently job shopping, but I think people my age realize that we only get 60 good years on earth; why should you work for 30 years doing something you hate. Also, companies don't give out pensions anymore, so fukk em. :pacspit:
i just found out my job gives out a pension and 401k matches. ima see how far i can grow within the company.

but honestly at the end of the day the whole thing needs to be tore down and rebuilt.

millennial still got some bootlickers but the gen after us not playing that shyt man.

5 day work weeks need to go. 8 hour work days need to go. 6 hours enough honestly. studies back this up. 5 days a week is just absurd.

just because something has been the norm for a while does not mean its the best thing. for the people atleast for companies that we have no hand in it works wonders.

Those Gen Y bootlickers are not respected by their peers. If anything, once the Baby Boomers completely retire, they gonna be food.

Gen Z, on the other hand, gonna ruin the entire societal order in the next 3 to 5 years. They also gonna bring the death of the SIMPING ECONOMY, too,

All I know is I'm in autopilot right now when it comes to work. Not a good thing long term but I'm enjoying it.

I took last week off from my main job and didn't do any side gigs running up miles on my car while being threatened with deactivation because customers lie about not getting their food/packages.

It was :ohlawd: I was able to get focused and complete a bunch of projects around the house. Of course I still didn't get 25% of I wanted to get done. Hustle culture had me working 6-7 days a week to stack bread while missing workouts and running off less sleep and more caffeine.

I'm easing my foot off the gas but not fully because I will never get caught slipping like people did in 2008-2009. All I know is there will be alot more 3 and 4 day weekends in my future, no more PTO Cashin.

There's a management position opening up that I'm prepping for within the next few weeks but I'm not even tripping about it. It would still be Work From Home but comes with Salary instead of hourly, which means many more responsibilities, more team meetings, and of course working later and getting work-related messages before 8AM and after 6PM. Either way I'm good.

Middle management is the worst. You make enough to flex, but you can’t fully enjoy it. The people above you make more and can enjoy it.

People below you bytch and complain all the time. And you’re expected to do multiple positions all rolled into one.

I ain't saying Kroger is better...but............recall formations, deployed to hazardous spots, shytty locations, your time being someone else time, etc...etc...Just better max his time in. Only about 10-12% of active duty folks even use TA to get a a degree of any kind. It'll work for him since AF got its own community college. And them jobs ain't guaranteed if he don't score high in the required line. Plus, if they invest $$ in training you to fly a drone and shyt, they ain't letting you do just 3-4 years then get out. Hope it work for him

Yeah, it will prob. work out for him if he focuses, works hard, and sticks with a plan before going in
