I would argue the Bears have two number ones. (Keenan and DJ) and a great future number one in Rome. The run game is booty but that's 75 percent the fault of the O Line which has been bad since Ditka was frankly.
Im taking the Lions talent or Bengals easily though.

Plus Bengals have the best QB of any of the three ez.

Another thing that's often understated is the role of head coach is much different than the role of a coordinator/play caller. Especially if you don't get a good DC, if you still want to be deep in the offensive game planning and play calling as a head coach.

I like you Lions fans but ya'll slam Ben all the time lol. Even in wins! The Lions are mostly Dan and Brad, if not all Dan.
You can read my post shortly after this one where at times his play calling frustrates me, but I still think he's a great coordinator. No matter who commands an offense and how much talent you have, they're not gonna get it right every time. Some of my fellow fans don't think he's anything special, but that's them. And are you saying the Dan and Brad thing, it just repeating what you think we say? As far as their success, it's a combination of all parts that makes it work, and they'll all aknowledge that too. I think that's the beauty of the team. They all understand their roles and do them well.

This is, statistically speaking, the 11th highest scoring team in history. I'm not that high on Ben Johnson as a lions fan. He's been given gourmet ingredients to make pizza. It's not that hard to make pizza. Anyone can do this with this team basically.
And if we compared them talent wise to the other offenses in that realm where do they rank?

To put it in perspective the GSOT had 4 HOFs and one guy who eventually will be in with Tory ****

I'm definitely one of the biggest Johnson critics on here but he deserves a shot at being a head coach. He has a tendency to drift away from what's working and I don't believe he always maximizes his players but the overall results can't be denied.

:what: LIONS HAVE THE BEST OLINE
WHILE THE BEARS HAVE THE WORST.

I THOUGHT YOU WAS A FOOTBALL nikka?

I done forgot more football than u kno

O line is a scheme thing as much as it’s a talent thing

We talkin bout Ben Johnson, he’s scheming plays that other teams wouldn’t dare to run

Bears have one of the worst OC’s in the league, my point was they have the talent on offense but their OC is trash

Don’t believe me? Ask JSN

I disagree

Bears have arguably 3 #1 WRs, a very good TE and RB and a rookie standout QB

Waldron just sucks

Caleb Williams is not a standout QB (yet).
Keenan Allen is 32 years old and a lock to miss time every year. If he is your #1 you're desperate.
DJ Moore is cool but you are not taking him over Chase or St. Brown.
Odunze is more about his potential.

They don't have the best TE, RB, QB, or WR between these three teams.

Caleb played very well this year despite the air around the team, and that team was built to be able to score; I really think Waldron was the problem. Has no idea how to scheme his talent

DJ Moore and Amon Ra are the same level talent, DJ is probably more explosive too; Amon-Ra like a young Keenan

My point is the Bears have elite offensive talent too, just an awful OC

The Bears have a bad o-line, two nice rookies (Caleb/Odunze), meh Allen, Moore and some other young pieces like Kmet.

The OC may be ass but Bears fans are delusional thinking if they think this is elite talent right now. Maybe in a few years if everything goes right.

One of the things that make Ben Johnson a great coordinator is being able to sync with his talent. When you here Ben Johnson speak, he doesn't say the offense is his, he says he and Jared Goff built the offense together. Dan Campbell had a hand in it too during his first year.

Being able to build an offense from scratch with a newly acquired QB is one the best attributes you can have. Why do you think Andy Reid and Mahomes work so well together?

As a playcaller, he does make some head scratching calls but he succeedes waaaaaay more than he fails and he comes from a great culture.

He has earned his shot and is damn good at his job
