SMALLVILLE Alum Allison Mack Under Investigation For Reportedly Leading A Sinister Sounding Sex Cult
SMALLVILLE Alum Allison Mack Under Investigation For Reportedly Leading A Sinister Sounding Sex Cult

She played the infuriatingly annoying Chloe Sullivan in Smallville but Allison Mack has come under investigation today for reportedly being second in command of a sex cult specialising in abuse...

As you no doubt already know, Hollywood has been plagued by a series of sex scandals but did you ever imagine that Allison Mack would be among them? She played Clark Kent's closest friend Chloe Sullivan in Smallville and like Felicity Smoak in Arrow, she was a divisive character best known for dropping countless pop culture references and helping the Man of Steel ultimately become Superman.

It's been alleged that Mack is second in command of a secret sex cult which reportedly disguises itself as a self-help group called NXIVM. A former spokesman for them claims that Mack is in charge of a secret sorority which brands women and the Smallville actress (who was most recently seen in Lost in Oz) is said to preside over a group of female slaves forced to recruit others or face punishment.

Those include forcing women to go on starvation diets and routine beatings. Mail Online says that the group also specialises in blackmail, forcing its members to reveal compromising information which they then use against them if they attempt to speak out. It's basically like a pyramid scheme with Mack somewhere at the top and she's said to be the one who introduced the idea of corporal punishment.

It's obviously up to Mack what she does in her personal time but these are some pretty serious allegations of abuse and ones which will probably end her career for good given the current landscape.

This is my first time hearing that Kristen Kreuk brought Chloe into the cult.:ohhh:
How the fukk do you bring your friend into a sex cult and then don't take her when you leave?:mindblown:
I never liked Kristen because she had no body and seemed conceited I liked the girl who played Supergirl Laura Vandervoort:takedat:
,Lois Erica durance and Chloe more than Kristen.

She didnt recruit her into the cult, she attended the self help classes this organization was set up as after her then boyfriend got her into it and got Allison to check them out too. She eventually got out (supposedly when she got suspicious of it when she read stuff online about the guys past) and there is the rumour is she did try and get Allison to leave as well but she didnt and thats how they had a following out.

Even the ex members who have been trying to expose the cult said Kristin was not involved in the sex cult and knew of it as just a self help group (Susan Edmonson)

Also the timeline from the FBI report suggests this thing started a couple of years after she left

:wow::blessed:

The stories sound crazy :dwillhuh:

Sounds like this wouldn't have been exposed if it wasn't for the branding? Crazy that they'd get brazen enough to do something like that. But these cult leaders all end up sipping their own kool aid.

Most of these self help things are ponzi schemes. People are desperate and will throw money looking for solutions to their "problems".

I saw a clip where some woman described him as a geek, but then later it said she left her family to be with him. :heh::dahell:

These women have families but are branded on the pubic area/hip. :mindblown:

It seems like Allison Mack tried to recruit Emma Watson into her alleged sex cult

On Friday, former Smallville star Allison Mack was arrested for the role she allegedly played in acting as a recruiter for the supposed cult/sex trafficking ring Nxivm and its subgroup DOS (Dominos Obsequious Sororium, or “Master Over the Slave Women”). Along with Nxivm leader Keith Raniere, Mack was charged with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy before being released on a $5 million bond today. Given these charges and the unsettling detail that Nxivm would supposedly brand its members/victims, Business Insiderlooked through Mack’s Twitter account and noticed that she made repeated attempts to reach out to Emma Watson in 2016 with comments about an “amazing women’s movement” that (in retrospect) sounds suspiciously like Nxivm and it’s “self-help” angle.

'Smallville' Actress Allison Mack Granted $5 Million Bond

Smallville's Allison Mack, who was arrested for sex trafficking on Friday in Brooklyn, has been granted a $5 million bond, Deadline reports.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York confirmed the bond but no other details. Mack is reportedly the second-in-command behind Keith Raniere, who was also recently arrested, at Nxivm, a purported self-help group that is accused of serving as a front for a sex cult

“As alleged in the indictment, Allison Mack recruited women to join what was purported to be a female mentorship group that was, in fact, created and led by Keith Raniere,” United States Attorney Richard P. Donoghue said Friday in announcing the arrests. “The victims were then exploited, both sexually and for their labor, to the defendants’ benefit.”

Deadline also provided a link to the arraignment documents, including this summary of the case from the Justice Department:

According to court filings, during the past 20 years, Raniere established a series of purported self-help programs within his umbrella organization “Nxivm” (pronounced NEX-i-um). Nxivm is based in Albany, New York and has operated centers in the United States, Mexico, Canada and South America. Nxivm maintains features of a pyramid scheme, as its courses cost thousands of dollars each and participants (“Nxians”) are encouraged to pay for additional classes and to recruit others to take classes in order to rise within the ranks of Nxivm. A number of Nxians were residents of the Eastern District of New York when they were recruited, and Nxivm has held promotional recruiting events in Brooklyn. Mack is credited in publicly available materials with co-creating a Nxivm program, called The Source, which recruited actors.

As detailed in court filings, in 2015, Raniere created a secret society within Nxivm called “DOS,” an acronym that stands for a Latin phrase that loosely translates to “Lord/Master of the Obedient Female Companions,” or “The Vow.” DOS operated with levels of women “slaves” headed by “masters.” Slaves were expected to recruit slaves of their own (thus becoming masters themselves), who in turn owed service not only to their own masters but also to masters above them in the DOS pyramid. Raniere stood alone at the top of the pyramid. Other than Raniere, all members of DOS were women. Mack is one of the women in the first level of the pyramid immediately below Raniere.

Mack and other DOS masters recruited DOS slaves by telling them that they were joining a women-only organization that would empower them and eradicate purported weaknesses that the Nxivm curriculum taught were common in women. Mack and other DOS masters concealed Raniere’s status at the top of the pyramid from new recruits.

As a pre-condition to joining DOS, women were required to provide “collateral,” which included highly damaging information about friends and family members, nude photographs and/or rights to the recruit’s assets. DOS slaves were told that their collateral could be released for any number of reasons, including telling anyone about DOS’s existence or leaving DOS. Many DOS slaves were branded on their pelvic areas using a cauterizing pen with a symbol which, unbeknownst to them, incorporated Raniere’s initials. During the branding ceremonies, slaves were required to be fully naked, and a master would order one slave to film the branding while the others restrained the slave being branded.

According to court filings, Mack directly or implicitly required her slaves, including Jane Does 1 and 2, as identified in the Indictment, to engage in sexual activity with Raniere. In exchange for this, Mack received financial and other benefits from Raniere. Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 believed that if they did not participate in those activities with Raniere, their collateral would be released.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Viktor Pohorelsky granted the bond during a hearing earlier today. The prosecution is being handled by the Office’s Organized Crime and Gangs Section.

Raniere was arrested in Mexico back in March, and when video leaked online, it showed Mack arguing with the authorities on his behalf. Both Raniere and Mack face mandatory minimum sentences of 15 years in prison if convicted on the current charges.
