Ray Allen is Def better than allen Iverson but this is the coli. People are more enamored with his swag then his actual play on the court. Iverson was the hood but one day we will admit he was overrated

after the isaiah thomas debacle earlier this week with that point guard list, i knew they were gonna go after iverson next with a shooting guard list.

and i knew all the dweebs in the coli were gonna come thru here celebrating.

question is whats next? who yall got to get chitted on in the next lists?
small forwards - i got carmello anthony. and theyll probably low-ball pippen so they can s*ck jordan's d!ck some more.
power forwards & centers anyone?

Iverson also is a career bad FG% player , he was a chucker if we are being real and not like a Kobe/MJ one either don't know why people so highly of him

you kinda have to really know basketball first-hand in order to understand why people are so high on iverson. his career was truly amazing. something that doesnt come around too often.

kobe & MJ are bigger chuckers than iverson. and on top of that, they actually had other options on the court and didnt need to chuck the way they did.

i remember seeing jordan get mad and yell and pippen because pippen hit a game winner and didnt pass him the ball instead. one of the guys that are truly lucky that they came before the "information age".

Why does Wade get so much love? He won 1 ring as Batman and 2 as Robin?

media loves wade.

even that 1 batman ring was more of a 1a/1b situation.

ive aways had my reserves about wade. hes moreso in that 2nd tier with drexler/richmond/monroe. i kinda give the slight edge to wade over them at the top of that tier cuz hes effortlessly athletic with a crazy motor to go with it. OWW.

idk if ray is better than AI, but i would certainly take him over ai if i was building a team since he can play with other stars.

@Kobes Middle Finger and @Sccit have a point there.

People say AI took a bunch of scrubs to the finals without taking this into account because AI didn't have another great scorer with him. But even if he did it's not longer he would have passed him the rich anyway. AI would be focused on playing hero ball taking 40 shots a game.

How there fukk do you expect anyone else to get any rythm when they rarely see the ball?

lol.

you guys listen to the media too much.

iverson disspelled this myth the moment he left philly.

Reggie Miller isn't any better than Klay Thompson.

haha.

i was about to say the same, but i dont think klay would be as good if he was the star of his backourt, let alone his team.

There is nothing analytical about Ray Allen putting the ball into the basket at a far more consistent rate than Allen Iverson in that series. He performed out of his mind

but anyway, the point is that people shouldn't forget just how good Ray was in his prime

yes it is indeed all analytical, and this is why people hate analytics.

youre focusing too much on numbers instead of acknowledging the obvious right in front of you.

the bucks had more going on than just ray allen offensively. as opposed to iverson, who was the sole source of 76ers offense, all while being a 5 footer.

AI was the only dude in the East that seemed like he really wanted to win and loved the game..... 6 is great for him but I fear he'll get that Isiah Thomas treatment in the long run but worse

hes been getting the isaiah treatment thru this entire decade already breh.

6 is a slap in the face.

Wade won chip with a worse lineup.

Old ass Jason Williams
Old ass Shaq missing the first 20 games every season, scoring about the same as mutumbo
Old ass zo shoulda been retired
Old ass Gary Payton shoulda been retired,
Antione Walker d leaguer at that point.
No shooters on that squad either :gag: the paint musta felt tight as virgins

But hey he had prime udonis haslem

:dahell:

the heat were one of the favorites to win it all going into that season.

revisionist history like a muhsukka.

There is absolutey no shame in them losing to the lakers. Beating the Lakers probably wouldnt have put him higher in MY OWN rankings among SGs.

I am not questioning that he had to carry that team at all but i still maintain he was a hog even with Denver. A hog isnt necessarily about just taking too many shots. A hog can be just disruption of the flow of the offense just because you want the ball in your hands.

But either way He did all he could that season and there was no shame at all to losing to a team with Shaq and Kobe. I still wouldbt pick Iverson over Kobe, Wade, T-Mac or Ray Allen.

every star player in the backcourt & on the wing is a ballhog. the only ones that arent are the spotty guys that arent great at creating.

dont just single out iverson because the media subliminally trained you to.

and you mention denver but they were cookin. had like 8 or 9 players droppin big numbers on a nightly basis. i couldve averaged at least 12 on that team.

Good points but you gotta be realistic with the way the roster was set up. Ai had to Chuck just to give them a chance at winning. Think of LeBron in the finals last year he also had to Chuck since he was option 1-3 on offense :francis:

yea.

at least bron is 6'8 and had mo williams.

iverson is like 5'10 and had no relief on offense.

Oh I get why people are high on Iverson, and the hype that he receives isn't proportionate to how good he actually was. Kobe & MJ were chuckers but they did so with far better efficiency and were on another planet offensively. Not to mention the fact that they were better defensively. Can say the same for Wade.
