there are black people that say it was better that black American slaves were forced to pick cotton and be in the America right now, than being in Africa right now. Yall know that's 100% fact, and there are all types of income levles and educational levels of black people that believe that outright, or with a shrug. Matter fact I'm going to make a thread on it right now in TLR........only because you going to see that there are plenty of black posters that agree we are better off being the legacy of enslaved cotton picker than in Africa. In other words....a bunch of black folks agree that picking cotton was good and agree in a weird way with Cliven Bundy's comments. I don't necesarily agree that black people are "lucky" to be in the U.S. vs Africa, but there are plenty that do
Comparing modern Africa to modern Black America is very different from comparing the slavery era to modern Black America. You seem to be using a scenario that has nothing to do with what he actually said.
There's no Black person I can imagine who would say that Black people were better off as slaves than they are now, which is what Bundy was saying.
