i said "ALSO" one of the reasons
i don't think berto has a chance
i also didn't think pacquaio had a chance either tho:mjpls:

floyd haters as you put plus floyd stans and nikkas who follow boxing think this fight is shyt...no ifs ands or buts..the only cats ive seen behind this fight in 100% real life are haitians

as for that pac shyt..that analysis is typical of a stan breh lol..you didnt break anything down

@Yuzo (who doesnt stan either) actually did a good analysis for pac-floyd and broke it down

GGG at 154
if ggg wins his next fight in impressive fashion and then beats cotto or canelo in impressive fashion, then the public will probably be calling for floydto come out of retirement to fight him.
don't think we are quite there yet, even tho its beginning to start up

what i'm saying is to the general public who don't really follow boxing and just want floyd to see floyd lose, they arent really familar with either one of these fighters and don't think they have a chance against floyd.

if there was someone out there they thought had a chance against floyd, they would of already rallied behind him and started the floyd is scared shyt
u see how quickly it happened with canelo
they have no one to latch to one right now, so i'm saying ALONG with it being a mismatch on paper and it being too expensive, thats another reason why the fight lacks a buzz

So, we're gonna disregard the Boxing media and ton of fans wanting to see Floyd vs GGG like that doesnt exist or those words werent printed/aired on ESPN/HBO?:jbhmm:

Floyd vs GGG at 154 is the fight that "the majority" wanted him to take, Floyd himself wanted Berto:mjlol:

Outide of Canelo, Shane, and Pac, the general public don't know any of the dudes that Floyd fought in the last 5 years.

lol i've been breaking down that fight for 6 years man
did a ban bet
did real life bets
i was 100 percent confident
nothing to do with being a stan
if you take away the scared crap and the media hype, anybody that watches the sport knows mayweather was gonna win
without going into too much detail, i always said pacquaio's style was taylor made for floyd mayweather

The cries started before Floyd fought Pacquiao though when GGG said he would drop to 154 to fight Floyd. Got to the point where Floyd & Floyd Sr addressed it.

"I had a chance to see him fight Willie Monroe Jr. He done what he had to do, but even with me being at my weight, I'm just too smart."

Floyd Mayweather: I'm too smart for Gennady Golovkin
"I would say something about this GGG. GGG, hey, if GGG can make weight, that would be different, but -- no, no, we not fixin' to fight no damn giant. I'm gonna tell you like this right here. He comes down, he be at 154, by the time he eats and fight that night, maybe 180, you just don't know, man. People can eat up stuff, man, and hey. He don't need to fight nobody like that, man. Now they say that Floyd won't beat him, but I'm just telling you because, the guy is probably just so big and strong, man. Floyd probably, all he would be doing is, he'd take a lot of punches. He'd come in, Floyd would run the stuff off of him. But the whole thing is, it'd be a struggle, but Floyd probably could beat him. I can't say that he can't beat him."

Floyd Sr on Mayweather-Golovkin: 'He ain't fighting no damn giant'

Floyd took the easy route, picked an easy fight, will get to 49-0, and he can retire. But let's not act like Floyd vs GGG isnt the fight the public was clamoring for.

the public knew cotto obviously, and they knew ortiz and maidana because of their upset wins. if you wanna take it back a year further, they obviously knew marquez.

no you didnt..if you did it would have stood out in the cesspool of that thread..there weren't too many quality posts in there due to the stanning overkill...ban bets and being confident is not sufficient for an analysis breh lol..i dont recall a floyd stan getting any props for breaking it down

pressure floyd v ggg at 154..

Showtime/CBS got the fight they wanted and it put them well beyond the black with Floyd. He could have a rematch Shambra Mitchell with Emmanual Augustus (get well soon bruh!!!!) as the trainer and tag team partner, Showtime/CBS wouldn't give two fukks. I think they just want out of the deal at this point.

we'll agree to disagree
i think ggg is in the middle of blowing up and becoming mainstream
i don't think hes there yet
he hasn't beat one fighter that the public can identify with
but his buzz is brewing

Are you trolling me right now breh?:heh:

Outside of Floyd...GGG has a bigger fanbase than any Middleweight not named Cotto, Junior Middleweight not named Canelo, or Welterweight not named Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez.

i've always said from day 1, that a fighter that would give mayweather problem is a fighter who is taller than him, has a jab, has power, can cut off the ring, and can fight in a variety of ways. someone like a tommy hearns.

i've said from day 1, pacquaio is too small, has no jab, has bad defense, (he is open to a counter right), he fights too sloppy, is one dimensional and he can't cut off the ring. he in taylor made for floyd mayweather. all his weaknesses our floyd's strengths. i always said his only chance was a lucky punch and even then floyd has a iron chin. we've been talking bout this fight for 6 years on 2 different forums, my opinion never changed. i don't bet real money off passion or who i like better, if i thought he lose i wouldn't put my money on the line
