Invite whoever they want to the cookout, I'm already on the field, ready, let's talk about which one of them can be invited to enlist in that. A nikka can milly rock like a black person? Cool. Can he articulate a genuine point regarding how the war on drugs is a form of institutional racism? Can he have that awkward conversation with his white peers when there is no black person around and switch the convo from Friends episodes to the racial bias that are less blatant than blackface?

Whats the point of inviting white folks and other non-blacks to this proverbial cookout if they ain't doing their part to unlearn racism and confront/address anti-blackness amongst their own commuities, acknowlegding thier own privilege, dismantling systems of racism to provide opportunities to blacks and break down doors they couldn't do on their own, and taking accountability for the actions of their peers?



None.

Most of these folks just want to use black culture to make themselves look cool while still enjoying all of the fruits and labors racism affords them. Without it they wouldn't even have an identity.
