I think we can. It’s not going to be a quick turnaround, but we’re going to be good again. I can feel it.Jets can't screw this up. Big 3 in BK, Knicks half-way decent under Thibs, Mets under new ownership, Yanks always in play. Let's restore the feeling. Now my Giants on the other hand
We can, bro. It’s not impossible. We can. We have the capital to trade for him and still sign people. Get him a number one receiver, a lineman and still have money to be competitive. It’s not like that takes money seedy from signing rookies. It’s not the back breaker man think it is.You can’t be trying to bring Watson with this offense
Can we get some real legit play makers on offense please
Can we actually scout and develop players and find diamonds in the rough
Until Watson formally requests a trade, I'm not going to get excited over nothing.
Even if he does, I'm not so sure the Jets would trade for him. Joe Douglas believes in building a team before getting a QB. Which is why we're most likely going to trade down from 2 instead of drafting a QB. So I can't see him giving up 3-4 1st round picks for Watson, even though he's more than worth it

I gotta be honest, I don’t follow the Giants as closely as the Jets, but is Gettleman the biggest issue?Gotta get rid of Gettleman.
If I recall correctly, the rookies money is separate from the cap. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though. And listen, at some point, we’re going to have to pay and in certain case, til we get people who WANT to come here, we gotta overpay. Signing Watson will solve a major problem that we’ve had for decades. It’s a lot of money, but he’s a 10-15 year guy. We have Becton and other young prospects. Watson will make them better. Robinson, admittedly is tough, but listen... he’s one of the beat at what he does and we gotta be competitive. Can’t have another season where people are tuning out. I also don’t think going after those guys doesn’t mean you can’t continue to build through the draft. This part is what gives me pause. I don’t see Joe giving up that much to bring him in. Remember.. he’s gonna cost us 36-38 milly per year. If we take on that contract and sign a receiver (Robinson/Golladay) that’s another 15 or so there. That leaves us with what.. 28 milly left? Before signing our rookies and bringing in more help? I just can’t see Joe going for it.
The only QB move I can see Joe going for is if no one offers Detroit shyt for Stafford, and they release him outright. And we get him on a team friendly deal. Other than that, we’re either rolling with Sam again, or going QB at 2

That being said, I can go either way. Watson or no Watson, we’ll be straight.
