1) Turner Sports (along with ESPN) is in the middle of a 9 year, $24 billion contract with the NBA. They're most likely going to have pull given how long they've been doing Tuesday night games. Makes more sense to go to TBS than TNT due to the Tuesday time slot being available and how much of a negative it would be to either bounce back and forth between TBS & TNT or have an 11pm time slot. It's not like TBS is in any fewer homes than TNT is anyways.

2) Any guesses on the Main Eventer that reached out? My guess is Rollins

they havnt been doing Tuesday games long. Thursday is their big NBA night.

TNT just started airing Tuesday games in the middle of last season.

I'm not sure how many E people will join in year 1 but if I'm Impact, ROH, or MLW, I'd expect to lose guys and girls or have to give them more perks to keep them. That equal pay stuff for women is a game changer because there's NXT guys making more than some female wrestlers on the main roster right now.

Most WWE fans are casual. 9/10 fans won't know what AEW is. I'm not interested in seeing Cody book himself to be something he's not; an upper card talent.

I think the Khan's and Bucks will stop Cody from Double J'ing himself.

I really doubt this will succeed , it seems like the hype is there but once it goes away I don’t see it surviving

its definitely going to succeed unless AEW f*cks up and implodes due to inner turmoil. and I don't see that happening.

they already have the winning formula:
a built-in devoted hardcore following + big money behind it.
and it sounds like they have a big time TV deal.

that's the big 3 that a company needs to succeed & sustain on a high level. aside from the WWE, no promotion has checked all three boxes since WCW.
