I think the only reason it didn't pick up any more steam is because most outlets weren't entirely sure how to cover the event, since it was positioned almost like a sideshow at a fighting game tournament known for being heavy on the wrestling weirdness.

Can't believe nobody heard about the Chasyn Rance deal on here. Quite a few people were mighty pissed about how all that went down (and Omega didn't necessarily acquit himself all that well).

I really want these guys to succeed, and they've made a tremendous amount of smart, savvy business moves to get themselves in a prominent position (when Marv Albert is mispronouncing your name during the ECF, you've made it, I guess). But just assuming that PAC will have lost the Dream Gate belt before Double or Nothing and booking him in your company's inaugural title match without actually checking to see what Dragon Gate's booking plans are is damn near TNAriffic (short of actually going through with all of this, THEN learning that PAC can't/won't lose). I'm gonna laugh so hard, by the way, if they go through all this shyt just to see him lose the belt on the May-June King of Gate tour or something.

You already know what the deal is when it comes to Meltzer and AEW. Don't even know why people are getting worked up about it.
