you were wrong and you side-stepped that.
that's one thing. its whatever. cool.
but you had to throw the smilies in there.
im not feeling all that. it felt like a deflection.
that was an accident.
that 2nd sentence was for the poster I quoted above you. my bad.
watch that mouth tho.
Wasn’t wrong or side-stepping in the least, but we’ll be here all day going example for example and year for year over what was supposed to be a footnote in my point.
I threw the smilies in disbelief because I couldn’t understand how you could still think I’m shilling WWE when the entire basis of this conversation is that one strength WCW had during a certain point in the Monday Night Wars (disagreements over history aside) is that when WWE turned the volume up on goofy, WCW centered around realism.
So cool, let’s say you’re 100% right about your WCW historical points and I’m 100% wrong. Even if that’s the case, the very foundation of that example is “fukk WWE for being corny”. Which is why I was explaining that critiquing indie corniness doesn’t mean that we’re defending WWE corniness. They aren’t mutually exclusive. If at the end of that you still are asking me if I prefer WWE humor then what are we even talking about?
We can debate Monday Night Wars all day but I feel like we’re talking in circles if my original point keeps getting missed or misrepresented.
