Anyone know where tickets will be on sale? I'm hoping ticketmaster but if there's another site, I'm trying to get my account setup now so I won't be unprepared later.
Still waiting on a code on both my emails. My boy got one on his work but not personal. Hoping he gets us decent seats on presale then I can get maybe 4 in general sale for the flip. Let me check that lyte.com site to see what I can do for now tho. It’s through Lyte.com

Only issue I can potentially see with AEW is they try to make it a glorified indy in terms of the product. A sports presentation ala NJPW is what is going to compete with WWE and attract casual fans that were lost in the post-attitude era.
That’s my exact point about WWE. They got the middle school humor goofy hijinx on lock, I’d rather the competition stick to a hard hitting product as opposed to a jokey one. I don’t need AEW to reinvent the wheel, but after eating good off NJPW, Stardom and Lucha Underground all these years I know that promoters can create a compelling wrestling company for adults if they choose to. I’m not worried about a stigma for watching wrestling, I just enjoy the sports aspect of New Japan and the deep storytelling in LU, but the smark cheese factor and dikk jokes do nothing for me, so while we’re all waiting to see what AEW is going to be, my hope as a fan is that the cheese is kept to a minimum.
Like in LU, there’s plenty of humor but it’s more like an acid trip and a Grand Theft Auto/Better Call Saul type feel at times. That’s a style choice, and when they brought Joey Ryan in, the storytelling came first and his gimmick wasn’t as over the top.
Again, it has nothing to do with being stuck on WWE because I’m not. I’m just hoping with the money they’re putting into this they lean more toward dope feuds, stories and big fight feel, and less popping the crowd with jokes. They could easily keep the fans they already have by too sweeting everyone, spamming superkicks, and doing the dikk lollipop, but it’d be cool if they keep challenging themselves. A guy like Jericho being in the locker room is definitely good because he always reinvents himself.
Of course WCW already had the adult demo viewership, as AEW does. I never said they switched focuses and claimed a demo they didn't already cater to. What I said is that base exploded when they decided to turn down the wackiness and shift toward realism when they went primetime because it was a breath of fresh air for wrestling at the time.sports presentation was never an aspect of the attitude era.
also, if you got into wrestling via the attitude era and quit watching afterwards, then you more than likely were never a wrestling fan. and nothing is bringing you back.
no bro.
you said that WCW grabbed the 18-35 demo in the mid-90s. im saying they had that demo from the very beginning. long before that era.
AEW is automatically coming in with the adult demo.
theres already hard-hitting wrestling promotions out there. it sounds like a lot of that will be in the AEW, along with the smarky comedy.
I never said you were stuck on the WWE.
