Lamont gonna get sparked out left hook style same way LM got him. When he engages inside he lifts his chin up when he digs the hooks. All Danny needs is one good counter left.garcia got make sure lamont doest get inside and make it a brawl .....lamont needs to make sure he doesn't take big shots cause his aint got the best chin.
I wonder where he goes from here. Dude never deserved to be ranked #1 by the IBF, ever
He's okay, but his ceiling is a C fighter. He looked JUST like an early Fight Night jobber in the ring...I said it before the match started. Generic face, generic trunks and shoes, plus fake ass name
Once you have defeated all of the generic Eurocacs he's the final boss.
Look at this dude
No No Dan = The 2015 version of the disgust we had for Rod Salka@ the disgust everyone had in this dude in the fight thread.
shyt reminded me of that James Toney interview a while back, dudes asked him about some Euro fighter and he was like " those European fighters can't spell fight." The disgust in his voice had me
This Saturday night from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, IBF junior welterweight titlist Lamont Peterson takes on Danny Garcia, who has the WBA and WBC junior welterweight belts in his possession. But this fight for whatever reason is being contested at a catch-weight of 143-pounds.
But even with that, Peterson must win this fight to keep his IBF strap.
"He loses the fight, the title will be vacated," Daryl Peoples, president of the IBF told BoxingScene.com on Tuesday afternoon.
People explained that Peterson was due for a mandatory defense and had requested an exemption. The three options he gave were two ranked IBF contenders and a unification bout (which wouldn't need an exemption). Peterson was paired with Garcia but once that fight was made above the 140-pound limit, it ceased to become a unification bout.
If Peterson loses, then the IBF's two leading available contenders would vie for the vacant title within 90 days of April 11th. Right now, the number one and number two contenders are Cesar Cuenca and IK Yang.[\QUOTE]
