i think you might be taking it a little too literal. is just a part of writing..its a parallel..just showing us how he is essentially in Gus' shoes right now.

Dont Get Me Wrong, Im Not One Of These Nit Picky Types, Im Just Saying The Former Examples Seem To Be Mirror Reflections Of Things Walt Seen First Hand, That One Wasnt, All Im Saying

DISCLAIMER: I DIDN'T READ ANY SPOILERS & DON'T KNOW ANYTHING PAST LAST NIGHT'S PREMIERE

This is just a theory, but I re-watched Season 5 before last night's episode (like I'm sure many of you did). In the seventh episode, there are two allusions to suicide. The first is during the raid of Mike's place. During the raid, Mike is watching a program that mentions cops killing themselves. As the quote runs on Mike's television, the camera zooms in a bit on Hank. The second allusion is a lot more blatant. It occurs during Walt's visit to Hank's office. Hank leaves to get coffee, looks at his co-worker & makes a gesture that suggests suicide. Now could these both be stabs in the dark? Of course. But, given the show's history of foreshadowing, I get the feeling that Hank is gonna kill himself.
Or it's going to be made to look like he kills himself :youngsabo:

I don't know, at this point Hank seems pretty gung ho about taking down Walter White and making a name for himself. I'm not sure what would change to make him suicidal.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
I thought it was hella weird last night when Hank returned from the hospital and they zoomed in him putting a knife on his wrist to cut the hospital ID tag...like the camera was completely focused on the knife being on his wrist.

:dwillhuh:

Why would that even need to be on camera if it wasn't preluding to suicide?

That's what I took from it. As I said earlier, I don't think any of Walt's imitating behaviors have necessarily been planned or conscious. I think it's largely just something for us, as the audience, to pick up on.

I don't believe that Walt on purpose copying people he's killed. I think it's mostly just a clever device used by the writers.

Nah i believe it is done to show people Walt is a true sociopath, pure evil if you will.

She cares about the quality of dope because they're exporting to the Czech republic. That whole deal was hinged upon Walt's meth being far better than anything else on the market.

And nah, they didn't let Walt walk away. I mean....look at his house. shyt obviously falls apart in the next 7 eps.

I don't know man...maybe.

I'd like to have a discussion on it. I don't think Walt's a sociopath. Sociopaths don't have emotions and are incapable of empathy. I think Walt became evil for sure, and he's a scumbag and a liar. But I don't think he's a sociopath. He doesn't have the typical traits of one.

When Walt killed Krazy 8 he certainly wasn't evil or a sociopath. So when he was cutting the crusts off his sandwiches he wasn't evil yet.

I don't think Walt is pure evil. He's a b*stard and beyond redemption at this point. But he's not the devil incarnate.
