My only gripes was the Android being black as an affirmative action casting...they had an Asian in the film too...and the rapid growth of the Xenomorph from seed to chest buster then full grown Xenomorph.

Its been years since I seen Alien and Aliens...but they don't grow that fast lol
In the first Alien, they are beyond astonished that they grew that fast.

Aliens is a very different movie. We don't get a face hugger scene at all, all that happens before
The Marines land on the planet. The only face huggers we see are in glass jars.

the movie did a lot to showcase the present day film technologies and bringing them to the Alien universe. I think that was a reason for some of the set pieces. The beginning of the movie had that Blade Runner feel to it. they definitely tried to mix together Prometheus ideas with Alien. It will be ineresting to see where the franchise goes after this, 7.5/10

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Movie was good. the ending with the babymorph kind of ruined it for me.
What where they doing on that ship exactly?
did the company want to inject ppl with that shyt? Maybe i missed something
The alien that Ripley ejected out of her ship in 1, is the alien that the space station found in Romulus

The company loves this being. As a weapon and as a cure for living forever with no ailments (perfect being).... Remember that was Wayland's OG mission in Prometheus

Ok so they get the alien, unfreeze it thinking it's dead, but it was not dead. Came back to life and was killing EVERYTHING.

Now I can't remember if they was doing it before, simultaneously or after killing it.... But at some point, they reverse engineered them to get the black goo from Prometheus...

The black goo is what they were up there experimenting on, trying to get it from this death dealer goo, to some cute everything including death goo...................

They failed

I'm trying to wrap my head around this post..

"Affirmative Action casting"? What race was the android and/or Asian character supposed to be?

In Aliens there's an entire face hugger action scene with two huggers. They don't impregnate anyone if that's what you meant. (Also a hugger comes out an egg when Newt is in the nest).

We’re working on a sequel idea now. We haven’t quite closed our deal with Fede [Alvarez], but we are going to, and he has an idea that we’re working on. The two survivors, Rain and Andy, played by Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson, were real highlights of the film. And so I always think of it like, “Wow, where do people want to see them go next?” We know there’s going to be aliens. We know there’s going to be great horror set pieces. But I fell in love with both of them and I want to see what their story is.
